(Hong Kong, 14 September 2021) – Xinyi Glass Holdings Limited (“Xinyi Glass” or the “Group”) (stock code: 00868), a leading integrated automobile glass, energy-saving architectural glass and high-quality float glass manufacturer, is pleased to announce that Tan Sri Datuk TUNG Ching Sai, Chief Executive Officer of the Group, has again garnered the accolade of “Best IR by Chairman/CEO– Large Cap” at the 7th Investor Relations (“IR”) Awards 2021 hosted by the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA). Moreover, Mr. Jason Lau, Chief Financial Officer of the Group, has won the title of “Best IR by CFO– Large Cap” for the third consecutive year (both have changed to Large Cap from Mid Cap this year). These awards have again demonstrated broad industry recognition for the Group’s consistently outstanding performance in investor relations.

Dr. LEE Yin Yee, B.B.S., Chairman of Xinyi Glass, said, “The Group is highly pleased to have achieved such impressive success at the HKIRA Investor Relations Awards over four consecutive years. While this year’s events were also offline due to the pandemic, we have proactively implemented a variety of approaches including hosting live webcasts and teleconferences for investors to disclose the Group’s business performance and development trends in order to maintain close communications with different parties. Xinyi Glass has become a constituent of the Hang Seng Index this September, not only an endorsement of the Group’s business performance, but it also increases the market expectations on us in different sectors. In the future, the Group will strive to continue to improve our corporate governance, to adopt a flexible strategy and maintain highly transparent, adequate, and timely communications with our investors through different channels, thus providing investors with a more in-depth understanding about its investment value”.

The HKIRA Investor Relations Awards was launched by the Hong Kong Investor Relations Association (HKIRA) in 2015, with the aim of encouraging, recognising and rewarding excellence in local investor relations practices by individuals and listed companies. The awards are open to public nomination, with the winners decided by polling buy-side and sell-side analysts and fund managers. This year’s awards have attracted widespread support across the investment sector. Over 890 eligible voters and over 360 eligible institutions participated in the poll, selecting 47 winners from 167 participating listed companies.
