The “2022 Fortune China 500” list takes into account the business results and achievements in the past year of the largest listed Chinese companies in the world. It was compiled by Fortune China in cooperation with CICC Wealth Management. The annual revenue threshold of the companies on the list this year was close to RMB 22.8 billion, 31% higher than the close to RMB17.4 billion last year. 500 companies listed this year together made revenue of RMB62 trillion, more than half of China’s GDP (over RMB 110 trillion) last year, and their net profit totaled at RMB4.7 trillion.
